In 1964, when he graduated he and his wife to be, Ickle Pickle, were averaging 50 shoes per month.  For the next 11 years, they continued to earn their living soley by entertaining. In 1975, he began teaching magic and this lead to Ickle Pickle Products Inc., which is now in its 26th year.

The Catalog went from a one page mimeographed sheet to a 2-part, 1500 plus item, Catalog.  When Steve began manufacturing he also began lecturing, which he's now been doing for 30 years. For 41 years, Steve Bender, alias Mr. Pickle, has been performing, manufacturing, writing columns of COAI and World Clown, and lecturing. Joyce "Keedo" Dowell

Joyce is an award-winning clown that graduated from Cheerful Clown Alley’s clown school in 1993. She has been using her talents in the gospel clown field. Out of a necessity for clown stuff you just can’t go out & buy, she has developed a love for building props.

Props   This will be a combination of shopping with clown eyes (how & where to shop when looking for things to make props from) and demonstrating how to work with foam, foam core and PVC pipe.  The fun of the class will be using most materials not as they were intended to be used.

Chris "Can-Do" Anderson

My name is Chris Anderson.  I graduated from LeTourneau University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  I spent over eight years in the banking and mortgage industry before joining First Investors.  My qualifications and credentials include an intense training program where I obtained my Federal and State securities license, as well as my Group 1 insurance license.  I choose First Investors because of their long history, their dedication to customer service and their attention to detail.

I enjoy working with my clients one on one, and I also speak at workshops and conventions as part of my companies commitment to educating our clients, and the general public.  We specialize in financial matters such as planning for retirement, college expenses, saving money on taxes and protecting financial interests if you don’t live long enough to see your plans through.

I am also known as Can-Do the clown.  I have been clowning professionally since July of 2000.  Most of my clowning career has been focused on children’s birthday parties where I do magic, balloons and joke around with the parents and kids.  When asked if I can make a certain balloon, my response is I “can-do” anything as long as I try.  I also spend time in clown ministry by working with several churches in the area performing at various events using balloons and illusion.

I am a member of the Texas Clown Association (TCA), Clowns of America International (COAI) and Cowtown Clown Alley #135.
